INFIE
How long have you been DJing and why do you do it?
I made my first set in March 2008. It was a disaster of course, but I was very excited and I continued. The serious work began months later in November when I was invited to play in Ladies Night 001 on Afterhours.FM. Why do I do it? Because I have loved music since I was a child, it has always been my biggest dream. Because music is not just the sounds that are well combined and we like to listen to sometimes, it’s… a passion, an emotion, an experience; it’s a way of life that once you enter you can never give up. Music can be the air you breathe, music can be your best friend, music can be the soundtrack of your life, music can be your religion. That happened to me. I just love everything connected to music and mixing naturally became something I want to do when I got deep enough into trance music.
Do you produce? Tell us more about it if you do!
Well, the most correct answer should be no. I have tried to arrange samples when I was a teenager. Some of my friends like these things but I think they are just the result of having fun with some programs. I mean, it wasn’t serious, but still I think it’s just a matter of time for me to start learning to produce. I want to, but I still don’t manage to get some others things done. I’m taking some piano lessons now. I think it’ll help me in that direction.
What’s to be expected from your set for Trance Inside’s birthday in club Inside?
Hahah I never answer questions of that kind with a certain answer. That’s not only because I don’t like people to know what I’m about to show them. It’s because I don’t know what it’ll be before the ideas of the track list appear to me. In other words I don’t know what I expect from myself. But of course there are some elements and sounds that the listeners have gotten used to hearing from me. If you are too curious, you can always turn to my places on the internet and have a look or hear.
Who are your favorite DJ/Producers, people who inspired you and you follow?
These DJs and producers have been different during the years. It’s not that easy to tell. That’s why I say music inspires me. I say music, not trance music. I like listening to different music, different electronic genres, and different musical genres as well. Trance is just my favourite genre, but not the only one I like. In the last years, I’m inspired by less popular but really talented DJs and producers. I like the Bulgarian artists like Katsarov, Sugar DJ’s, Soulplay, Vinid etc. The foreigner artists I like are Mike Foyle, Myon & Shane 54, Heatbeat, XiJaro, Leon Bolier, Ronski Speed, Lange, Shato & Paul Rockseek, Mark Sherry etc.
Your favorite show (ASOT, TATW, etc)? Why?
That question is really hard to answer, too. Some years ago I listened to many shows on different radios. Now I don’t find much time to listen to radio shows. I mainly listen to Bulgarian shows like Sky Session, Global Perception, Trance Infinity, Trance Inside etc. I can’t point out a favourite one because they’re all great.
Favorite track of 2011?
It’s hard to answer that one too. I seldom followed the new releases this year. But I can tell you some of my favourites for this year:
Allure feat. Jes – Show Me the Way (Solarstone pres. Smashing Atoms Remix)
Fei-Fei – Mosh Pit (Original Mix)
Gai Barone – Younique (Introspective Piano Mix)
Andain – Promises (Myon & Shane 54 Summer of Love Mix)
First State feat. Sarah Howells – Skies on Fire (Original Mix)
Re-Mono – Catalina (Katsarov Remix) etc.
Name a producer that not many people know but you think that everyone should know of?
Well, I think everyone should know the Bulgarian artists, because they’re really talented DJs and producers. And I mean all of them. I can’t point out one.
Something else that you want to say?
I would like to greet everyone whose religion is music with the lyrics of New Radicals – You Get What You Give: “Don’t let go. You got the music in you.” Also, greetings to all Bulgarian trance music fans. We expect you on the 7th of January at Club Inside, Sofia. ((:

JENNIFER MOON
How long have you been DJing and why do you do it?
I’ve been involved with music professionally for 3 years now. I started doing it quite casual just like a hobby but then I didn’t feel how fast the music captured me entirely.
Do you produce? Tell us more if you do!
I have a lot of plans about music production and I’m currently working with the best. Two demo versions are already out there, co-productions with Sugar DJs and Katsarov and I hope that there will be more development in this area soon so we can surprise the audience.
What’s to be expected from your set for Trance Inside’s birthday in club Inside?
I’ll keep it in secret. I want it to be a surprise and this way people will be more interested in it!
Who are your favorite DJ/Producers, people who inspired you and you follow?
My favorite DJs and producers are Mr. Pit, John O’Callaghan, W&W, Mark Sherry, Ummet Ozcan and others. They are the people who inspire me but I don’t follow anyone because I want to create my own style so that one day someone else could be inspired from my own music.
Your favorite show (ASOT, TATW, etc)? Why?
My favorite radio shows are Bulgarian ones – Trance Infinity with Sugar DJ’s, NFOT with J Mozz and Sky Session with Katsarov which will have its 4th birthday on 11.11.2011! As for the international radio shows I think that all of them are pretty good but I don’t have favorites.
Favorite track of 2011?
W&W – Impact, Fei-Fei – Mosh Pit and others.
Name a producer that not many people know but you think that everyone should know of?
I think that there are many talents coming from the Bulgarian scene that are not well known around the world. I think that they are all very good and they prove it every day so we deserve to have at least one big name on the world’s trance scene to represent us.
Something else that you want to say?
I want to wish to Trance Inside to entertain the audience with good music for many more years to come and we’ll do our best to make the birthday unforgettable.

SOULPLAY
How long have you been DJing and why do you do it?
My first DJing steps go back to 2004 but my first professional experience was 4 years later when I got the chance to play in front of more than 100 people. Why do I do it? Because I love it! I have the need to do it and I have the feeling that I have to do it not only because of me.
Do you produce? Tell us more if you do!
I’ve been thinking to start producing for years now but I always find excuses not to. Sooner or later that will happen too. I have a lot of ideas but right now I just don’t have the time to study the different programs. All I do is mash ups. I have more than 25 at the moment but I don’t think that you can call this 100% producing.
What’s to be expected from your set for Trance Inside’s birthday in club Inside?
Expect the unexpected! I expect the club to be full because not many parties like that are organized here. And I expect each of the jedis to totally kill it!
Who are your favorite DJ/Producers, people who inspired you and you follow?
I started with Oakenfold and continued with the great Tiesto of course. Just in few years I traveled all around the world because of him. Right now I don’t have an idol. I listen to everything and if I fancy it I click on ‘Like’ :)))
Your favorite show (ASOT, TATW, etc)? Why?
I don’t have a favorite show, I almost don’t listen to them…
Favorite track of 2011?
I can’t think of a favorite track this year either. It’s a weak year in general, I haven’t even thought if a track could be really absolute number 1.
Name a producer that not many people know but you think that everyone should know of?
Of course that those are the Bulgarian DJs. We have a lot of talents but unfortunately there’s no one to notice them even in our own country what’s left for the rest of the world.
Something else that you want to say?
I would say the following… Never let the music to leave you because if that happens there’s nothing good that’s left. Everything is connected to it 🙂

J MOZZ
How long have you been DJing and why do you do it?
I do not remember how long I’ve been playing music. I used to constantly go to electronic- filter-techno parties. The first parties I ever went to were Filterheadz, Dj Rush and others. I was young and I entered illegally. I met many people from the crowd and I loved it. From there I decided that I wanted to entertain the crowd and see smiles on their faces. So I started to learn and I fell in love with this lifestyle.
Do you produce? Tell us more if you do!
Yes! I’ve been producing for about one year very seriously. I sketch a lot of projects but I never release them out into the world until I decide that I have 100% of their capacity in them. However, if you ask when you will hear something from me – I guess the spring of 2012.
What’s to be expected from your set for Trance Inside’s birthday in club Inside?
Megamix! Or something. Energetic club trance music. Definitely love to experiment live, so I hope that will be interesting night : )
Who are your favorite DJ/Producers, people who inspired you and you follow?
Armin Van Buren was the man who directed my attention to quality trance music with his productions. And then the beginning of the A state of trance. From there I was addicted to Inertia (aka John O Callaghan). Later names like Alex MORPH, Tiesto, Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Akesson (aka Bjorn Akesson) and many others.
Your favorite show (ASOT, TATW, etc)? Why?
The answer is contained in the question : ) ASOT & TATW because they are unique. All other sub-labels are theirs.
Favorite track of 2011?
Quite complicated. But as something innovative on the scene I noticed all of Arty’s productions. Also all of Orjan Nilsen’s productions and club track of the year Dakota – Sleepwalkers. Live sounds really crazy!!!
Name a producer that not many people know but you think that everyone should know of?
Definitely Sonic Element. We are good friends with him and we have a very honest communication. He does not deal with Djing or participation in festivals. This affects his productions, which are of a really good quality. I’m sure in the future, everything will change : )
Something else that you want to say?
Thanks for the invitation to the birthday of Trance Inside. I’m sure it will be a crazy night! : )
See you there

NIC TOMS
How long have you been DJing and why do you do it?
I started DJing just recently but I’m loving it and I’m learning and adjusting really fast. I’m already hosting my own radio show!
Do you produce? Tell us more if you do!
Yes I do! I started when I was 12 and I’ve been doing it ever since. This is really my passion and I’m very happy how things are progressing lately. I managed to release several tracks and few remixes and they all got huge support from many Djs!
What’s to be expected from your set for Trance Inside’s birthday in club Inside?
That will be a surprise but I can tell you that I’ll drop some of my own tracks there!
Who are your favorite DJ/Producers, people who inspired you and you follow?
I grew up listening to Armin but right now there are a lot of talents out there that I admire and listen to. I’ll mention Benno de Goeij from Rank 1 and Orjan Nilsen.
Your favorite show (ASOT, TATW, etc)? Why?
Being Armin’s fan automatically means that I listen to A State of Trance. On top of that I also listen to Trance Around The World and Trance Inside!
Favorite track of 2011?
Definitely Protoculture – Sun Gone Down.
Name a producer that not many people know but you think that everyone should know of?
Check out Mike Ape, he has some amazing productions!
Something else that you want to say?
I want to thank to everyone who liked and listened to my tracks and if you want to hear them live come to club Inside to party with us!

WOLVY
How long have you been DJing and why do you do it?
I’ve been DJing for about two years now. Every breath in my life is connected with music so it feels natural to do it. Besides it seems that few people out there enjoy it which makes it even better!
Do you produce? Tell us more if you do!
I try to produce. I’ve been learning about music production for the last three years and I’m slowly making progress. I’m loving it and if you’re interested to hear my attempts you can check my website and soundcloud pages. I’m not responsible for the side effects that might occur though!
What’s to be expected from your set for Trance Inside’s birthday in club Inside?
I have hopes that we’ll be able to deliver a couple of live performances but I can’t tell you more yet because it’s probably going to fail anyway! However, some very uplifting and energetic beats from my set are guaranteed. Uplifting trance resides in my blood and since I’m playing the closing set you can expect some pure energy for the end of the night.
Who are your favorite DJ/Producers, people who inspired you and you follow?
The list is long, I’ll mention Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Roger Shah, Aly & Fila and Sean Tyas. You can easily say that this is my top 5 although I like many others as well.
Your favorite show (ASOT, TATW, etc)? Why?
I listen to many different shows but the best one for me right now is Future Sound of Egypt with Aly & Fila. I feel like they are the only ones who still remain true to trance and keep making an amazing selection week after week. Just check one of their episodes and you’ll see!
Favorite track of 2011?
I’ll have to name two of them here. My undisputed favorite is Aly & Fila – We Control The Sunlight but then I’ve heard Simon O’Shine – Enthusiasm and now my heart is divided in two!
Name a producer that not many people know but you think that everyone should know of?
My favorite producer this year is definitely Simon O’Shine. All of his tracks are beyond amazing and if you like uplifting trance definitely check him out. I’ll also mention Dan Stone who is also a unique talent that I’ve been following for quite awhile now. I’m in love with his music.
Something else that you want to say?
I’d like to thank all of the radio stations who supported my radio show Trance Inside throughout the year, club Inside for hosting the live gig for its birthday and all the DJs who accepted my invitations to be part of the birthday events.
Most importantly though I want to say one big thank you to everyone who listened to the show and supported me throughout the year. It’s been the most amazing experience for me and I hope to see as many of you as possible on the 7th of January in club Inside. Thank you so much!
